Job Title: Assistant Superintendent

Reports To: Superintendent

Contracted Days: 240

 

Job Summary: The Assistant Superintendent provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the district’s instructional programs. This role is responsible for supporting curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development efforts aimed at improving student achievement. The position supervises the building principals and key district-level instructional leaders.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to travel to other buildings is required. The position requires the individual to sometimes work irregular or extended work hours and meet multiple demands from several people.
